2A, 4-5 miles
Meet at parking lot across from the Hatch at Erie Basin Marina. We will carpool to Welland, Canada. First we will do a short jaunt in downtown Welland to see some of the famous murals. Then we will go to Merritt Island Park where we will walk the wildflower trail. The final leg of our hike we will be along the Welland Canal (the recreational part).
Bring change for bridge toll, passport/enhanced driver's license or birth certificate plus photo ID for border crossing. Also, bring lunch which we will eat on the trail. At end of hike, we will go to Joe's Gelateria for gelato or espresso, etc. (optional).
