The shorter distance is in case some people can leave work and do a short jaunt around the woods before returning to work and the longer distance is for those who have more time and can continue on a little longer. This is a wetlands area behind the Amherst police station/court.
Meet in the parking lot of Margaret Lousie Park on Hopkins Road, just north of Klein Road. This wetland/swamp area is paved.
